Prayers for the Week of December 14-20, 2008

For the intentions of Pope Benedict XVI...

For a flourishing of the Culture of Life, may life be respected from conception to natural death and may the evils of abortion and euthanasia be replaced by an understanding of the true nature of humanity and our inherent dignity...

For president-elect Barack Obama, may he be moved to enshrine a culture of life, defend the freedom and dignity of peoples everywhere, and remain safe from terrorism and harm...

For our economy, may we learn the true value of money, spend wisely, and share our resources willingly with others out of love for Christ...

For the unemployed, may they find gainful, meaningful work...

For Fr. Neuhaus, and all living with cancer, may they find comfort, strength, and healing in Christ...

For the repose of the soul of Dorothy Martin, Young Mi Yoon, Rachel Yoon, Grace Yoon, & Suk Im Kim, Avery Cardinal Dulles, and all who have passed into eternal life, may God welcome them into His loving embrace...

For Stacey, and all discerning a call to conversion, may Christ call them home and support them on the path to faithful life in Him...

For all those persecuted for their faith, may religious freedom reign supreme and may our Judeo-Christian heritage be the foundation of our nation and our moral compass...

For the intentions of all in the blogosphere, and the intentions we hold in the silence of our hearts...

For personal intentions...

Please e-mail your intentions to oratefratres@yahoo.com
